CONTRARY to the local belief that August is a lean month, or as what the Pinoys are saying “taghirap”, the country’s largest-selling showbiz magazine—what else but The Buzz Magasin—come out with a bumper issue filled with juicy rumors, the hottest gossips, intimate interviews, paparazzi, titillating blind items, and of course interesting articles and fun pages.

The month of August also refers to ‘majesty’ that’s why we featured the local showbizlandia’s royalty. Roll the red carpet, please! Clarification mula sa mga pamilya ni Ces at Jimmy

Nilinaw ng mga pamilya ni Ces Drilon at Jimmy Encarnacion na hindi sila
direktang nakikipag-usap sa mga kidnapper. "Si Mayor Isnaji lamang ang
nakikipag-negosasyon sa mga kidnapper dahil siya ang hiniling ng mga
kidnapper na magsilbing emisaryo. Kaya naman lubos kaming umaasa at
nagpapasalamat sa kanyang tulong na mapalaya sina Ces at Jimmy."

Ikinagulat ng pamilya ni Drilon ang balita na nahihirapan si Isnaji na
makipag-negosasyon sa mga kidnapper dahil nakikialam ang kanilang
pamilya. "Nakipagkita kami kay Mayor Isnaji kahapon sa Zamboanga City.
Alam ni Mayor na hindi kami nakikipag-usap sa mga kidnapper at umaasa
lamang sa kanya. Tiyak din kami na hindi nakikipag-usap sa mga kidnapper
ang ABS-CBN."

Muling nakiusap ang mga pamilya nina Ces and Jimmy sa media na mag-ingat
sa pagbabalita tungkol sa negosasyon at usaping ransom dahil nakataya
ang buhay nina Ces at Jimmy.

Lubos na ikinalulungkot at ikinababahala ng ABS-CBN ang mga paratang na inabandona namin sina Ces at Jimmy.

Habang tumutulong kami sa mga pamilya ng biktima, ipinapairal ng ABS-CBN ang "no ransom policy" o ang patakarang huwag magbayad ng ransom sa sinumang kidnapper.

Hindi dapat magbayad ng ransom dahil lalo lamang lalakas ang loob ng mga kidnapper na dumukot ng ibang taga-media at ordinaryong mamamayan.
